The HydroLearn team hosted an interactive, virtual workshop at the UCOWR Annual Conference on June 8th. Our audience ranged from early career professionals to seasoned instructors, which made for rich discussions and unique networking opportunities. The hour-long workshop introduced attendees to the HydroLearn project initiatives and the research-based pedagogical principles that have influenced the design of our modules. During the interactive portion of the workshop, attendees were able to copy and adapt an existing module for use in the classes they will teach in the future.
We’d like to thank UCOWR for the opportunity to host the workshop during their conference. The conference is very well organized and they have very helpful and excellent support staff.
Additionally, we’d like to send a hearty thank you to our workshop participants! We particularly enjoyed the small group discussions where we got to know each attendee a little bit better.
